Anyone who knows me can tell you that I'm not a movie person. When I do watch a movie, it's one that I've rented. Rentals are the best for these simple reasons (a) I can hit pause when I think of something else I'd rather be doing for that moment, or (b) I can rewind and play it again because I fell asleep somewhere in the movie, and (c) I have three days to try to watch the whole thing. So last Sunday I took my girls to the drive-in to see Nim's Island and Drillbit Taylor. Yes, TWO MOVIES!! and Tayli convinced me to turn the car around backwards so they could make a bed in the back, which sounded great until we all tried to squeeze in the back. Somehow we all were able to get comfortable and believe it or not, BOTH movies were super good! Now Tayli has decided that every Sunday night should be "drive-in" night. Her reasoning: "because it gives us time to spend time together as a family." How can I say no to that? :) Here are some dark pictures that I took while at the drive-in last weekend.
