Wednesday Night Youth Group Rocks!
The girls and I decided to go check out what goes on at our church on Wednesday nights. We found out that it's tons of fun for kids of all ages. Braeden went to the 1st & 2nd grade youth group and Tayli went to the Jr. High/High School group. Both girls had a great time and met some really neat new friends. Tayli learned the story of Jonah and the Whale, which was so ironic, because this morning I mentioned that story to her and asked her if she was familiar with it. So when she walked out of her group, she immediately looked at me and said, "Guess what we learned about in there?" I said, "What?" and with a huge smile she told me, "Jonah and the Whale." How funny! We then went downstairs to get Brae, who spotted me and said, "Mom, I want to get baptized." That has been my plan since she was born, hopefully now it will actually happen. Anyway, I'm so glad to say that we are ALL very pleased with First Christian Church.
